Ingredients

  • 5 each eggs
  • 1/2 cup Half and Half
  • 1 1/2 cups Cream
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese (whatever kind you like)
  • 1 each Deep Dish Pie Crust

Pre-Cooked Fillings – Choose some of your favorites

  • some Sausage
  • some Bacon
  • some Chicken
  • some asparagus
  • some onions
  • some mushrooms
  • some peppers
  • some spinach

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven to 325 Degrees
  • Combine Eggs, Cream and Half and Half and whisk in a bowl til smooth
  • Sprinkle one cup of any kind of shredded cheese (we use a mixture of different kinds of cheddars) in the bottom of a deep disk uncooked pie shell.
  • Layer any herbs you feel like and 1 cup of add-ins (brocoli, ham, bacon, sausage, asparagus, onions, spinach, mushrooms, peppers, etc.)
  • Pour the egg and cream mixture into the pie crust.  May have a little bit of the mixture left over.
  • Bake for 1 hour or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Quiche is normally served warm, so you need to let it sit for about 20-25 minutes before serving.
